Review of The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957) by Elizabeth L — 17 May 2009
Some fine acting from Alec Guinness but strays too far from the true story and so confusing to amateur history students. The insertion of American characters who were never there is unforgivable and probably just to get a big US star on board for foreign sales purposes.
