Review of The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957) by Dutch V — 27 Nov 2010
This is what comes to mind when I hear both the terms war movie and classic. This film is an absolute masterpiece. Guinness is phenomenal. The story is interesting, the acting is great, and all around a fantastic movie.
If you consider yourself a movie buff and you haven't seen this, you've falsely labeled yourself. This movie is fantastic and a must see if you haven't. In fact even if you have, go out and watch it again, it's that good.
