An anti army film war peace. its def worth watching, my only gripe is the ending. while some may yell at me for spoiling the movie (most people historicaly know what happened just like in lincoln lincon gets shot it doesnt ruin not being able to watch the movie) so dont read on they could have better made a more poignant anti war movie by having a need to destroy the train with it perhaps carrying weapons of mass destruction in addition to carrying wounded soldiers wich should have been stressed by alec guinesses character who just ends up looking like a bit of an overcompulsive boob and brainwashed by the end of the movie, it would have been much more dramatic and poignant for alecs character to try to stop what william holden's team is doing and yelling "thier are wounded british on board, stop!" and to see that cluster* than the ending that was aloted.
