Absolutely wonderful kung fu movie. It's got everything you could ask for: a grounding in alluded to history, sex, magic, silk whips, beheadings. This one has good acting, great kung fu, and a well crafted story that keeps the action from getting too long or the breaks from getting boring.
This is the film that endeared me to the gorgeous kung fu superstar Brigette Lin, and is probably Ronny Yu's finest acheivement.
