Review of The Break-Up (2006) by Ryan B — 19 Dec 2013
I actually found myself intrigued in this movie, I like that it shows the difficult part of relationships and how it's not always two happy go lucky people who have fallen in love with each other and live happily ever after.
Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston did a really good job playing their roles in this, they did a really good job showing two people that let's face it, are NOT meant to be together and they are complete opposites.
He's bluntly honest and only wants to do what he wants to do and not what she wants to do. She is sensitive and doesn't mind doing what he wants to do. The plot is very straight forward and that's one of the things I liked about it.
There's not as much comedy as I would've hoped for, it's more of a dramedy, don't get me wrong though it is a good sord of movie, I wouldn't mind watching it again. Would I recommend it.
...probably not, just because it really depends on if you like the slow paced type movies.
