Review of The Brave One (2007) by Jess D — 12 May 2009
The film always looks good, it was shot very competently, and Jodi Fostes a good performance because that's the only kind of performances she knows how to give (and her eyes! Have they always been that blue?), but overall it sets up too many intriguing questions that it completely fails to explore; ends up being an entertaining popcorn flick instead of an analisis of the human condition.
