Review of The Brave Little Toaster (1987) by Emily M — 02 Dec 2012
A heartwarming, imaginative and engrossing tale of a group of apliances who have been left, neglected at a cottage for many years, and set out to find their master.
The artwork is gorgeous, the music is enthralling, the story swings effortlessly between heartwarming, terrifying and poignant, the characters are real and so achingly familiar, all in all, watching this film makes me feel like a child coming home after a long time away.
I'd like to write a more detailed review, but I know that it would disolve into a puddle of the love I have for this classic film. No child should miss out on seeing this film, unless they're afraid of clowns, then they should stay far far away from it, lest they sleep with the lights on for the rest of their lives.
