In shock over how much I liked a movie based on a show I cannot stand. Director Betty Thomas who also had me laughing hysterically with Private Parts and Late Shift is a comedic heavyweight with her deadpan, razor-sharp, snarky yet goodnatured ribbing of wholesome America.
