Review of The Boys from Brazil (1978) by Steve S — 19 Sep 2007

Tremendous performances from the entire cast (with the stand outs being Laurence Olivier as the quirky Nazi hunter and Gregory Peck as the vile and sinister Nazi doctor) and the beginnings of the narrative has a rich sense of mystery and intrigue, but as it continues the storyline continues to become more and more preposterous and ridiculous, making it difficult to swallow its many plot points.

Still, the acting is so good and the plot's mysteries are intriguing enough to keep you watching till the end... though the ending is a little anti-climatic.
