Thank goodness this wasn't as schmaltzy as I feared it would be, largely due to Clive Owen's gruffly realistic portrayal of a grieving single father. The South Australia scenery is beautiful to look at.
The younger son is a bit too precious but the older son (who looks just like Ron Weasley) is very good.
