The boys are back was a story inspired by a true story about single fathers.Directed by Scott Hicks and beautifully performed by Clive Owen who did a good job in raising his sons alone in the movie.You might assume that his sons being different ages would not like each other and might fight.
But they actually found comfort in each other.When Joe met Laura, his relationship with her was platonic, and he never engaged romantically with her. It was more about his routines and his daily household, and not a lot happens in the film dramatically.
The storyline had some surprises, drama, and some boring scenes that left the viewer fell right out of the movie.
