I have to give 'The Boy' a C+. I absolutely love horror movies with dolls. Growing up, my mom was a doll collector and I have many creepy memories so I was dying to see this movie. For a horror movie, I actually think the acting was pretty good.
The downside for me was that the movie became very repetitive. It was just the same scares over and over again. The doll never blinked or anything you could visually see which was a big let down. However, the ending was pretty fantastic which is where most of my rating is from.
It had a great twist and I don't think anyone predicted it. I don't know if I'd see it again but I would recommend it just because of the ending.
