Review of The Boy (2016) by Denise K — 06 Jun 2016
It's almost a good movie It had great potention as a plot but it ended up trapped in chilches, unreallistic character decisions, easy scares and it is poorly handled towards the end. It could have been a great psychological thriller if it had focused on Greta's mind and develop it into a kind of partial madness developing a strange bond with the doll.
I see as a very god decision to make the threat a real one instead of a supernatural one, as it makes it even scarier as it is actually possible. But they failed to develop it well.
