Review of The Boy (2016) by Bartcbem — 09 Aug 2019
The Boy is certainly not bad, is well made, the acting is decent and it can give you few scares here and there. Sadly for me all went down very quickly after excellent first half of the movie when the main character assumed that the "Boy" doll is alive and just like that went on with her daily activities - oh you not here to kill me, you just want a actual babysitter. OK!
The plot twist at the end is also something that one could spot right at the first half of the movie. It might not be as jarring for you so I still recommend the movie, its surely better than average terribleness that we get from the horror genre these days.
