American teen, Greta (Lauren Cohan of the 'Walking Dead' fame) travels all the way to some isolated UK manor in the countryside, hired by an elderly couple to be a nanny to a child named Brahms, unbeknownst to the heroine that it's nothing more than being a nanny to a porcelain doll.
Viewers soon find out that it's a psychological thing as a result of the parent's losing their only child to a house fire. At the same time, viewers also get to understand the reason why she took the job in the first place which regards getting away from an abusive relationship.
