For me the interesting part about this movie was the fact that Daniel Day Lewis trained for several months as a boxer and with the help of former world champion Barry McGuigen became a very good boxer at the time of making this film Daniel Day Lewis could have been rated in the top 10 boxers in ireland for his weight if he decided to take up boxing full time.
