Just caught this on cable. Not at all what I thought it would be. It's really weird and I'm not quite sure what exactly happened. My wife says "I have a feeling the answer is on the cutting room floor somewhere'.
That may be true, but now, knowing that this was written and directed by the guy who did Donnie Darko and Southland Tales, I have a feeling there is no answer.
