Review of The Bourne Supremacy (2004) by Alex M — 04 Mar 2013
Can't say I'm disappointed, it more than lived up to my expectations of it being extremely crappy. Amongst the things that pissed me off was the poor directing (ridiculous handheld shots - couldn't see what the hell was happening during action sequences), the editing (again, all over the place) the really bad music which wasn't used correctly or appropriately at all, the plot, the over-the-top acting and the sense that nothing much was happening.
I hate films that takes themselves too seriously, especially when it comes to the matter of police/secret service/CIA/FBI etc. It was a complete waste of time. I can't believe there are worse things than Matt Damon in a film.
Utterly utterly shite. However, it did get more interesting towards the end, BUT they go and spoil it with what seemed like their idea of a joke accompanied by the worst bit of music in the film. I guess you either love the franchise or hate it.
