Review of The Bourne Legacy (2012) by Dan S — 21 Jul 2013

Much better than expected for an action adventure flick loosely based on the original trilogy instead of an all out re-boot. I appreciated that they gave Jason Bourne his due by having this film simultaneously take place at the same time that the events of the Ultimatum were happening and would hope that if a 5th movie is greenlit that both characters will hook up to take down the organization pulling their strings.

However for the life of me I have no idea why Hollywood thinks that Jeremy Renner is the cat's meow. He's okay but will certainly (in my book) NEVER be leading man material.
