Review of The Bourne Identity (2002) by Jude K — 09 May 2015
The Bourne Identity is a great spy thriller. The opening is very intriguing start to the film, with a man who can't remember how he got where he is. The acting is very good, Matt Damon fits the role as Jason Bourne very well.
The action is suspenseful and thrilling. The plot may be simplistic at times, but it never becomes a bore, constantly entertaining and intriguing. It's also well made and written, making for a rewathable movie.
The plot is a bit by the numbers at times, and the characters aren't that developed yet. But Identity is constantly interesting and a very good start to the series. The Bourne Identity gets 4/5 stars (A-).
