Review of The Borrower (1991) by Steve K — 06 Nov 2010
Wet & splattery horror/sci-fi gore-party detailing the adventures of a not-so-happy-go-lucky alien criminal who has a rather inconvenient affliction. It seems his head keeps on exploding, so after he escapes his captivity and winds up on Planet Earth, he begins harvesting noggins from some not-so-willing human donors, continuing the process as inexplicably, their heads explode as well! Nonsensical & entertaining, with Rae Dawn Chong as a cop on the case, and Antonio Fargas, TV's "Huggy-Bear" from "Starsky and Hutch", as one of the astral-axe-man's many hapless victims.
