Review of The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day (2009) by Caman M — 04 Jun 2011

The Boondock Saints 2 was a good movie. It gets beaten pretty hard by critics and some fans. The thing really holding this movie back for me is Julie Benz she was TERRIBLE. The Mexican is not good at first as he is a total Rocco rip off, But he grows on you. I enjoyed the rest of the cast as well. I like how the detectives from the orginal get alot more comedic in this one and it works. But the reason I enjoyed this movie most were two scenes. First of all the opening when the brothers are in Ireland with there super awesome beards and there smoking while hearding sheep...Could that get anymore Irish?? Then I also loved the Irish dream sequence that was just wow totally amazing you will have too see to see why. But overall the movie really just dosent get very close to as awesome as the original was. But I went in with mediocore expectations so it turned out alright for me.
