Review of The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day (2009) by Tristan M — 04 May 2014
I watched this movie mostly because of the fact that the great The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus was in it. It turns out, another one of my least favorite characters, Infinite Ammo, also had a major role in the film.
For the majority of this movie I had no idea what was going on. Scenes repeated, there were flashbacks and cutscenes where you couldn't tell if it was one or not. Things just straight up didn't make sense most of the time, and it was way to confusing.
Dreams, flashbacks, cutscenes, thoughts, and narratives made up the majority of the movie, so most of the time for me was spent trying to figure out what was real and happening and what wasnt. There where a lot of refrences to the first movie, often showing the same flashback scenes a few times.
The fighting scenes weren't that great when they happened, just super heroic, impossable shootouts that I disliked, and nobody ever reloaded. It was really dumb at times how they tried to intergreat comedy into the movie, because I only laughted two times the whole movie and eveything else that was supposed to be funny was just stupid.
I didn't like the ending or begining either, and mostly just didn't like the whole movie, not that I was expecting to much.
