Review of The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day (2009) by Olli H — 27 Jun 2010
Even though I really liked the first movie and was really expecting to see this, I tried to stay neutral. Now there is some minor faults and one little annoying accent usage but nevertheless, "The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day" was every bit as entertaining as the first movie.
There is some recycled scenes from the first movie, but that was to be expected. Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus have both aged at LOT, but they still to the bickering-brothers-act very nicely.
Julie Benz took over to role which Willem Dafoe had in the first movie and she does an ok job, plus she's quite hot. Billy Connolly and Henry Fonda brought some seniority to the movie and Clifton Collins jr.
was the comedic sidekick. The story is a little more complex than the first one and it works and the ending was, in my opinon, quite satisfactory. There maybe The Boondock Saints III yet, but I think they should end it here, hope they do.
