As a fan of how imaginative and creative the original film was, I hated every second of this sequel. Julie Benz gave a top-notch performance. Unfortunately, that's the only positive thing I can say about this movie.
The action sequences (if you can call them that) are boring beyond just being unimpressive. The director didn't even try. And the story feels like a parody of the first one in every way. Do not give in to temptation.
Keep the image of the first one in your head, leave this one alone.
