Review of The Boondock Saints (1999) by Shay F — 27 Nov 2015
This is one of my family's all-time favorite movies. We all own it. It's quoted all over the internet and has become a cultural icon. Some of the directing choices were genius. One of my favorite scenes is when the detective is 'imagining' how a murder happened and they place him in the real-time action.
It's choreographed beautifully. The humor and violence harkens to Pulp Fiction in some ways, but it's still a unique work.
