Review of The Boondock Saints (1999) by Dave L — 22 Mar 2016
This film is over the top, offensive in all ways, and back-breathtakingly hilarious. There is something charming about the film itself and it's sexually charged nature makes a contrast to the theme.
The contrasting ideas, such as DeFoe's homosexuality and crude use of homophobic words, is awesome. It makes the movie wonderful and amusing. The chemistry between the actors is great and makes for wonderfully dynamic characters.
Just as well, Conner and Murphy are hilarious and brotherly and we watch them and connect to how they are with each other and we are with our own siblings.
