Review of The Boondock Saints (1999) by Byrond. — 06 Dec 2005
One of the most ridiculous storylines ever written. So predictable I joked about the ending, and was right! The characterizations are more like charicatures. The Cop is so horribly written I was offended.
Also the main characters are completely and utterly insane, murdering people completely outside of the law and with no basis for their "moral war" as they are as bad, if not worse than the people they are attacking.
Also incredibly confusing given it's jump around editing. The fights are well choreographed but the Matrix had already taken the top prize only a year prior. I laugh at this movie any time it is on.
Please. Someone burn all copies of this piece of trash. I'm glad Troy Duffy got reamed by the Weinsteins.
