The Bookshop is very bookish!
There's not enough dialogue to fill a novella much less a 2 hour movie. It didn't leave me wanting more, it just left me wanting to leave. But some people like slow, so for them this is a page turner.
For your $8 ticket, you'll get $6.98 worth of periods and commas but no exclamation marks.
