Review of The Book of Life (2014) by Michael K — 11 Jul 2015

I originally heard of this movie once the issue with the name came into play and there was an issue with the name Day of the Dead. I think that Book of Life works perfectly fine. This was a fun movie to watch another animated movie fun for both kids and adults.

One of the best parts is the use of music, Radiohead Creep is great and the Diabolical Biz Markie. The movie is a lot like the Corpse Bride but a little less Tim Burton a little more Guillermo Del Torro.

I can see why this was nominated for Best Animated picture.
