Review of The Boogie Man Will Get You (1942) by Senor C — 14 Mar 2012
The Boogie Man Will Get You is a lot of fun for old movie buffs. Boris Karloff & Peter Lorre are a joy to watch & even though there are times when the rest of the movie sometimes feels like a stage play that has just been put to film they make it more then worth tuning in for.
Lorre even has his own side kick w/ a kitten in his pocket that he plays beautifully off of. For those who are looking for actual old school chills & a horror element you've come to the wrong show.
This is 100% comedy w/ a death overtone that doesn't take itself seriously but doesn't come off goofy in the process. Just a fuck of a good time from an era long gone.
