Review of The Body Snatcher (1945) by Bill B — 20 May 2009
Karloff is terrific as the titular character, providing cadavers for an unscrupulous Doctor and his young assistant; he really relishes their discomfort at having to deal with such an unsavory customer as himself.
Great stuff from director Wise and producer Val Lewton.
