Review of The Blues Brothers (1980) by Kyle M — 18 Sep 2014
Usually, overdoing stuff in movies may affect the film's level. That's what happened in this film in its chases, but the climax with the overdoing element has a funny effect that was acceptable, even though it wasn't following the rules of gravity in a few times. Besides that element, the film's comedic and musically energy comes partly from its duo's "serious" performances as they are good, next to some nice numbers. (B+).
