Review of The Blue Max (1966) by Tom H — 16 Jan 2010
Great ww1 epic! George Peppard does a memorable performance of a.
Ambitious fighter pilot on the German side. a little to ambitious in.
The minds of his comrades in action. all he cares about is being.
Awarded the blue max medal for 20 kills. but his superior does not like.
Him and tries to deprive him of the medal after he takes credit for.
Something he has not done. but since Bruno Stachel (Peppard) comes from.
Humble backgrounds and the working class of Germany is in desperate.
Need of a hero. A General(James Mason) pulls the strings to make sure.
He gets an easy path to the blue max. I liked the aerial action.
Sequences, they are impressive for it's day.
