Review of The Blue Gardenia (1953) by Sv G — 15 Sep 2009
A good noir, but considering it was directed by Noir master Fritz Lang it seems it could have been much better. It lacks the incredible edgyness of his best works and Anne Baxter's performance as the fraught protagonist is a little disappointing.
Overall a good story with the great look of Lang films, though without some of the feel. Worth a watch.
