Review of The Blue Angel (1930) by Ingrid G — 06 Mar 2012
Thats defently one of my favourite Movies the hillarious Birth of Film Noir a Respectalbe and Nice Professor played by the great Emil Jannings who is real a Character fell in Love with a Femme Fatale which are played by the great Marlene Dietrich who acts like this typcial Berlin Femmes and give his Work of Life up and ending as a Clown like the Man he that's bitter how a Respectable Man can fall and that's all for a Woman the Movie is in a totally bounding and bewichting Style and full of Dark Comedy and the Scenes and Music in the Blue Angel are beautiful it also shows a lot of the Old German Culture which is nearly disappeared and replaced to the similar but different Modern Western Culture one of this Culture Abbilities was the Respect before the Authorities / Elders / Teachers which was still very strong in this Time and also in the Time my Parents grow up I was in the Last Generation who still had some Teachers who teach like the Old Way (except Physical Beating) but they are retired now and theres only this Old 68ers and their Followers left the Story is also a Parable on the Downfall of the 20's as the Professor fall down to the Clown from 1925 to 1929 the Economy falls too and with the Professor loose his Respect the Authorities loose their Respect too in the Dawn of the Economic Crisis and the Strengthening of the Radical Powers.
