Review of The Blossoming of Maximo Oliveros (2005) by Henk E — 25 May 2010
When I started watching this movie I thought, "Oh man this is bad!"... but as I continued watching it, the movie started to grow on me. The story is actually very good, and if it wasn't for the less than average acting and poor cinematography, I would have considered it a masterpiece. It is a subtle, sensitive movie about a boy struggling to choose between his family and his first love.
Glad I saw it.
