Review of The Blood of Heroes (1989) by Cli O — 13 Dec 2008
What do you get when you combine the writer of Blade Runner and Unforgiven with Rutger Hauer, Delroy Lindo and a young Vincent D'Onofrio? Only the second best post apocalypse film of all time. I've probably watched it a hundred times.
For those of you outside the U.S. you may know this film as "Salute of the Jugger". My only wish is that they'd release a widescreen remastered version of this, because the sound quality on my DVD sucks.
I highly recommend it.
