Review of The Blob (1988) by Alan D — 01 Aug 2008

Up there with the likes of the remakes of "the fly" and "the thing". the blob seems to be the more ignored of the three. it boasts some superb special effects and some great diouloge, that maintains a modern tone whillst also acknowledge's its B-movie roots.

the original terrorfide me as a young boy, this has less terror and more entertainment. dont get me wrong, it dosent hold back. main charecters die early on, even chilldren. but this builds a little more the "blobs" back story and gives maybe more of a messege in the plot.

I seriosly recomend this film too anyone who enjoyd this films I mentiond earlier. good gooey fun!
