I remember loving Chuck Russellâ(TM)s 1988 remake when I first caught it at the cinema, and itâ(TM)s still as good today. The blob crash lands in a small town and starts to devour the population whilst Johnny Drama and the girl from the Saw films try and stay alive.

This is how B movies should be done â" fun, fun, fun, and features some cracking dialogue courtesy of Frank Darabontâ(TM)s script. Sure, some of the special FX are a little dated, but the make up effects stand up well and it still delivers the requisite thrills.
