It's very difficult to connect to the character based on how idiotic they act during certain situations. There's something very off-beat and disturbing about their obsession with the Hollywood lifestyle and the means by which they'll go to obtain that lifestyle.
The actors' portrayal of these characters were very well done.The movie simply takes a repetitive turn at times which hold it back from being a better film.
