I usually enjoy the works of Sofia Coppola, but The Bling Ring fell flat for me. The characters, although believable, didn't evoke any positive or negative emotions, so watching them go through the houses wasn't captivating or intriguing.

Also, as a person who's never been fascinated by all the "stuff" that celebrities get, I found it hard to connect to the topic. In other words, it's a movie for people who read People and Us magazines.
