Review of The Bling Ring (2013) by Stefano L — 15 Feb 2015
I always wondered what made Sofia Coppola's movies so well judged by critics, considering I never liked any of them (I have missed only the Virgin Suicides), and I never understood it. I always found them lack of deepness and of meaning, completely superficial.
This one is more or less the same, unless I liked it at least a bit. Some shootings were very particular and the mix of music and images was well created. But I still have my questions regarding Coppola's talent behind the camera and at the scriptwrite still unanswered.
