In 1979 Disney released this unlikely sci-fi movie, beautifully shot and acted, the film pays homage to the classic sci-fi films of the 50's. Anthony Perkins - from Psycho fame - is notable as the overtrusting scientist who discovers the true cost of obsession.
Shame about the surreal ending.
