Being a star wars crazed pre teen at the time I just couldn't resist having to see this movie....well as a kid it was okay I guess (no star wars) but it had the robots the laser gunfights and a couple spaceships lol .

..the ending really confused me and creeped me out as it does to this day. disney couldn't make up its mind what kind of flim they wanted to make it seems. another more recent "black hole " movie "event horizon" also deals with the whole black hole being a gateway to hell theme.

has a small cult following I guess. hard to watch now.
