Review of The Black Balloon (2008) by Elgan D — 11 Jul 2009
A brilliant film, superb acting from all the cast. It will be compared to 'Gilbert Grape & Little Miss Sunshine' which is a shame as this film holds it own. It's funny, sad, compelling, it takes you through every emotion.
Yes may be it is predicable in places but that doesn't distract from just how great a film this is. Buy it, rent it, just watch it, you won't be sorry.
