Review of The Bishop's Wife (1947) by Louis F — 15 Mar 2009
A lot of fun, although I kind of think Cary Grant might be working for the devil instead of the "man upstairs", sometimes he flashes these looks, that just make it seem like he's up to no good, I mean, I guess you have to be cruel to be kind, Job and all that, teaching Niven a lesson, but damn, it's like, how the hell can Niven compete with a bloody angel?
Very funny, very sweet film.
