Movie have a fairly accurate portrayal of the events. The history is fact and not the fiction that so many films from this period show. The slave masters were bigots and very abusive, even the nice ones were condesending.

Explains a lot about the race issues of today. I felt there was a lot of good scenes cut out due to time constraints. The videography kept me interested in a story that made me sick to my core. America is still running from her history, sorry b*%!#.
