Review of The Birth of a Nation (2016) by Andre G — 26 Oct 2016
Its a great film showing how Nat Turner just an ordinary "slave" was very curious about books, reading and becoming a preacher. He was told that "other" books weren't for his "kind" and pointed him towards the bible.
Which was used to control slaves but through a severe event against his family propelled him towards a revoke that helped create his legacy. Started his willingness to fight for what he believed in!!
