This makes 12 Years a Slave look like Love Actually. There is two extremely harrowing scenes. One is just gruesome and the other is more psychological. Anyone who believes in the Bible needs to watch this.
It tares the good book apart and its ultra-violence climax splatters the blood of its contradictions across the screen. Some great character development in this aswell. Jackie Earle Haley is a right nasty piece of work and Warner Smith is the biggest cunt I've seen in a film for a long, long time.
Brutal.
